RASOR ROAD CLEAN UP 01-16-2010
On January 16th, 2010 a bunch
of friends of Rasor Road all pulled together along with
Ranger John from BLM and we spent the better part of the
day picking up trash in the Rasor Road OHV area along
with the entire road that is about 7 miles long.
We had friends join us from
Las Vegas, the Inland Empire, Orange County, Devore, Los
Angeles, Riverside and many other places. Dan & Don made
a point to stop on their way to State Line for the
weekend and help out. The friends from 3Wheeler.org
joined us along with some of the Hooligans, friends of OC Keith's, Smokey's gang and many more.
Some of the unique things
that we picked up were: pop top beer cans, BBQ, burnt
generator, old picture frame, girly magazines, a dollar
bill, lots of broken glass and nails, burnt chairs,
chunks of steel framing and metal pieces, whiskey
bottles, food cans and wrappers and removed tons of
little orange markers in the bushes, bed springs and
burnt matresses, golf clubs, bowling balls, ski poles,
construction cones, many FULL cans of beer, trash cans,
gas cans, tires, steel rims, car parts and much more.
After we were finished,
many of us all met at the Ranch and had a BBQ, camp fire
and a few beers. We all talked about how the day went
and everyone worked real hard.
SPECIAL THANKS: I know I speak for many
of us on thanking BLM (Rose Beardshear) for donating to us the dumpster.
Thanks to Ranger John for all his help, this guy worked
his ass off and never drank any of our beers...
Thanks to Terry Young for letting us use his gas station
and tractor to load all the trash and thanks to everyone
that helped, especially the kids. I know how hard it can
be for a kid to work when there is a quad or motorcycle
sitting there with a full tank of gas... LOL
GOOD JOB - WELL DONE!

NOTE: I tried real
hard to get a photo of everyone. If I missed you, please
send me an email letting me know what kind of vehicle
you were in and what you were wearing and I will try to
find that photo. After we left the trees, some people
got far ahead of me so I may not of taken a photo of
you. Please email me!
